I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and was born and raised in Kansas City. I graduated from Baker University with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2011 and then worked on an inpatient unit at Shawnee Mission Medical Center for 1 short year before making the switch to pediatrics. I haven’t looked back since!
I worked at Children’s Mercy Hospital for several years on an inpatient unit while I completed my Master’s Degree from Maryville University. In 2018, I transitioned to being a practitioner in the Urgent Care/Emergency Department at Children’s Mercy. I absolutely adore working with children as they are truly amazing and inspiring.
My husband and I have a daughter, a son and a golden retriever, so it is rarely quiet in our home, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. I truly feel I became a better healthcare provider when I became a mom and it is my priority to provide family-centered care. I am excited to be a part of the amazing team at Shawnee Mission Pediatrics and look forward to helping care for your kids!!
